CX-9 screen spontaneously spiders
The CX-9 screen started spontaneously spidering from the inside of the display. There is no surface unevenness and it certainly isn't a result of me touching the screen too hard as I don't need to ever touch it, all done by the rotary controller. I took it in to the dealer (Towne Mazda, Orchard Park, NY), they had a look at it and said they'd get back to me. Five days later I received a phone call telling me in spite of there being no warranty coverage, Mazda was going to cover the first $1500 of the costs, the dealer was going to use "some of its Mazda cash" to the tune of $387 and that leaves a difference of $25.37 to be paid by me. I literally started laughing when they got to that last figure and said let's do it. Service guy said he knew I'd say that but had to get my ok first on the $25. He said the entire unit has to get replaced, not just the screen. It gets replaced 8/22 and here it is

They suspect that to be a possibility but I told them it started last Fall.

Currently Post-Acura
Had delamination due to heat twice on the lower screen in my Q50 - both times replaced under warranty and it's been good in the years since
