Custom Wheels For M3 Sedan

Just a few images of a wheel we just built for an E92 M3. The wheels are finished in a graphite with hand brushed lips and inner barrels. The fronts are 20 x 9.5 and the rears are 20 x 10.5. Let me know what you think.

It needs a drop, bad. Why do ppl upsize wheels and not adjust the suspension? At least, it appears stock....

it would look a lot better dropped but if i lived in NYC, i'd probably leave it the way it is. those roads are horrible. i once bent a rim on a trip there with my old car

Car is getting dropped (PS9's) with carbon fiber trunk and hood. Also we will be doing a full Meisterschaft Exhaust setup.

The customer wanted that style so I built it. It goes well with the car.

I like how the lip doesn't have a defined edge before it flares toward the tire.

It rights very well suprisingly. But i personally wouldnt chance it. But the car is a garage queen anyway, so it wont see much use, especially once it gets its drop done.

The wheels are great, but I don't think the thin spokes go well with the car.

Must be nice to have so much money that you can buy an expensive car, murder it out, then not even have to drive it unless it's dry out and you're *that* bored.

Gotta agree. The car has such a muscular stance and the thin spokes seem to be too underwhelming for that car.

I like the style but not feeling that finish on the lip.

Did you clear coat it or something?

The lips are brushed with a clear cloat. The customer wanted an industrial look and didnt want the usual multispoke bbs style setup that M's always have. He was extremely happy and really, thats all that matters. But i appreciate the constructive criticism. It's what makes my job great. When making a custom set, sometimes the customer knows that not everyone will like it, but he will get exactly what he wants and doesnt have to settle on anything but his own vision.

Custom rims are designed for that person... so as long as he likes it, nothing else matters.
