CR-V - new tires time
Well, at least the fronts. Backs still have a decent amount of tread on them. (I posted this in someone else's thread, but thought I'd make my own)
Right now, NTB is having a one price sale on the Cooper Lifeliner GLS for $69.99 each. I'm not familiar with those. Looking at other places, other tires with a similar cost are:
Falken Sincera SN-828 - $63 (4/5 on Discounttire)
Kumho Solus KR21 - $73 (possible price match to $65) (8.1 rating - TR)
Yoko AVID Touring-S - $58 (via price match) (8.1 rating - TR)
Price match is via an online site like tirerack. I'd rather match than have to order and get someone to put them on. We'd be happy to spend a couple of bucks more for a great tire. Unfortunately, tires like the Grabber aren't an option if they don't come in OE size, which I don't think they do.
Thoughts? I'm looking for a tire that has the best combination of noise, wear and MPG. This is the vehicle the wife drives the kids around almost all the time.

is yours 2WD or AWD? After 2+ yrs of ownership, my front tires were bald and the tire place advised that because I have AWD all 4 tires should be replaced at the same time. Not sure if I got hosed or not, but it's done and thankfully in time for the major snowstorm that just came to my area.
I stuck with the Continentals since I was satisfied with them. I know a lot of reviews complain about Honda's OEM tires, but thankfully I've never had to do a 60-0 stop to worry about those dismal tire performance. But the tire place did specify that the new tires aren't exactly the same as the OEMs, so I'm hoping by that, he means they're better and not inferior.
