Clutch Issue. Changing engagement point

Ever since I bought the car (my Integra) , occasionally the engagement point for the clutch will change from it's "normal" . Seems to happen if I am continuously holding the clutch in at a redlight and keep letting it out and giving a little gas as to "inch" up. After a few times of this, the damn thing will start grabbing almost at the floor, and the only way to "clear" it is to let the clutch all the way out and push it back down. This happened last week in some heavy traffic on a main street here, adn I mean literally I could ever so slightly let up on the clutch, and it was grabbing, was very annoying.

Any Ideas on what could be the cause ?

The previous owner of the car mentioned that it could be air in the lines

if it's hydraulic you can improve the feel but can't change the engagement point.

It is changing on it's own though, intermittently. Most of the time it engages in it's
"normal" point, but at other times it engages closer to the floor.

Did you get what my problem is ? and Am I getting your response ?
