Wait, you're selling the Civic?
That description was a cool read. How does it get the air/oil out of the bay and into the separator? Some kind of vaccuum?

Yea, theyre under vacuum. The routing goes:
-PCV on passenger side bank to canister to intake manifold
-Blow through on driver side bank to canister to intake tube (in front of throttle body)
No color match. I may do a color thats similar to the 03 CL headlights. They arent black housings, theyre just really dark gray with some metallic in it. I like the way it looks against the Anthracite CLs, and that color is similar to Asphalt on the FR-S. Good thing I still have my CL headlights apart, I can take the bezel in to have the code matched.
Or maybe black chrome

Interesting description for the air/oil separator. Is there a filter on top to vent?
Wow, I just looked it up and damn they are expensive.

They could be fake. I have noticed companies are coming out with fake center lock wheels now. The center lock is just a cap over the lugs to hide them. OZ has a new wheel with them. Personally I hate them. Anything fake is a no no for me.

Heres an interesting picture of the inside of the catch can.
That one is for the WRX IIRC, but it still shows the chambers.

WOW
From the looks of it, if you dont "drain" it in the right time and if the catch can fills up, the line will suck up all that oil since it doesnt have its own breather filter...
you can always disconnect the line and attach a filter to it

Thats the beauty of it - you don't have to drain it. Its not technically a "catch can", its an air-oil separator.
EDIT:
In the xray above, the top pipe runs back to the intake manifold. The lowermost side pipe brings the air and oil mixture into the can. The bend causes a swirl in the can flinging the oil to the walls of the can to drip down.
Crawford explains it better then me:

Crawford explains it better then me:
- The first step in the process is a large volumetric swirl pot. The function of the swirl pot is to use centrifugal force to remove the oil from the air. The air is then passed through a second chamber (see second step below), and extracted through the top of the AOS. Gravity then sends the remaining oil down the walls of the swirl pot and collects in the bottom of the AOS. At this point the separated oil sitting on the bottom of the AOS is returned to a baffled chamber in the center of the engine block.
- The second step involves a second chamber located within the first chamber. As the separated air moves up inside the AOS, it must enter the second chamber before it can vent out the top of the AOS. The function of the secondary chamber is to remove any residual oil that may have made its way up the swirl pot. The secondary chamber also has a drain to return any separated oil back to the engine.

^^^ I concur on that note....I have a dump tube running from the manifold and its as dry as any/all of Austin's dream
now that I understand that the "separated" oil goes back to the crank case, am digging this catch can
