Haven't had time, and with the cold weather, I have no desire to mess with them right now. Saturday is going to be in the 70s (what. the. fuck?) so I'll probably be out there then. I'm about to order the new bolts from McMaster though. They're not exactly what I'm looking for, but it's difficult to find strong M10x1.25 30mm long bolts in black with low profile heads - there's a joke in there somewhere, I just know it

Tell me about it, looking for the seat lock bolts has been a mission too. One guy on the s2ki forums had them made and he's the ONLY one that can get them. Good thing is, they're made by mcgard so they're intended to be strong and they have a tapered top so you can't use a vise grip to get them off.

Also, there were no pre-MAF air straighteners, so you'd get flat spots in the power band. The straw that broke the camels back was on a drive back from NY. I was on the Jersey Turnpike in traffic, changed lanes while in 1st gear around 10mph, and the car stumbled when I tried to accelerate. I nearly got rear ended by an 18 wheeler. The only way to fix the hesitation is with a tune, except that any gains you see are from the tune itself, not the intake - you actually get more power from a tune with the stock intake than you do the Airaid. Shortly after all the issues, they disappeared from the forum, and left plenty of pissed off customers; myself included. I refuse to sell the thing because it's such a piece of shit that I don't want my name muddied by trying to pass it off onto someone else.
Good for you, Morgi; I'm glad you're honest and refuse to sell anyone a POS! I'm sorry you and many others bought that Airaid, though...

Ty sir. They feel amazing too. The drive to work was so comfortable, while still holding me firmly.

My sister has the Recaro seats in her Focus ST...

Have you looked at what Homey Depot and/or Lowes has bolt-wise?

and Pep Boys actually has a pretty decently extensive selection of nuts, bolts and washers. Automotive grade, too.

Unfortunately those are M8, not M10. They are pretty though.

The problem is these bolts need to be grade 10.9. Ive only checked Lowes as they have a larger selection of metric hardware compared to Home Depot, and they only had up to grade 8. Like brakes, I won't skimp on something that could fail in the event of an accident and cause me or anyone else physical harm.

That's probably smart.
Also why I decided to bite the bullet and order from the guy...I had decided to install some center cap security bolts that gorilla makes in the mean time, but didn't feel good about having to torque it down carefully with a composite plastic lock.

I'm just going to order the bolts from the dealer. They're 2-3 times the price of McMaster, but they're exactly what I'm looking for. I just need to be careful torqueing them down.

I was actually wondering...how in the flying FK were you able to strip some "grade 10.92823984734" steel bolt heads that are OEM. If they're that soft, or that poorly designed, I'd stick with your original plan of looking for an alternate.

The heads could be rounded off.

The bolt head is smaller than the threaded section. It really should be a non-issue for tightening; but for removal, leverage is compromised, which is how things get stripped.

And to compound that, the strip clubs - or "skrip clubs", depending on who you're talking to - near us aren't very........exciting.

Sadly, yes, it was in.

I only go to strip clubs for bachelor parties. Such a waste of money and I don't like girls to pretend they like me. I have brazzers for that.

Isn't it amazing looking? And that simplistic wheel just sets it off.
Honestly, Morgan, I can't see it at work either...but I know it's the right video so I just copied/pasted the link. Ebelp showed it to me last night. (interpret "it")
