Civic Si Owner Convinced Ford Fanboys His Car is a Ford

Keeping emos out of
Um, I don't think too many Ford "fanboys" were fooled. I think the only one fooling himself was the owner. Could you imagine how many "what a freaking tool" looks he got from the showgoers? Most car enthusiasts know what a Civic looks like, especially Honda's interior.
Imagine if there was an Acura meet and some guy dressed up a Mustang with Acura badges and tried convincing you that it was a prototype? You'd laugh the guy out of the parking lot...

Yea.......I don't think he fooled that many people, probably just one or two idiots. I mean if you're at a meet, chances are you are a car enthusiasts and you would definitely know your cars. Also, you're at a Ford meet, not a Fiat meet. How can you fool a Ford owner at a Ford meet!!!

Well we were talking about a Civic here.
And I was just trying to point out that a Civic's interior wasn't necessarily "heads and tails above what a Ford interior looks like".

at one point, interior crosses the "less is more" line
more shit does not mean nice
its about the materials used, how well its put together, how accessible everything is. and how well it holds up.

I hope we can agree that while Honda has consistently been the benchmark for mainstream interior design and quality, Ford is definitely improving its craft and no longer forces the consumer to make compromises.
Back to topic.
I've owned several Fords in my time and years ago used to frequent "All Ford" events. I can tell you that very few, if any, sponsors, organizers, or Ford exhibitors were fooled into thinking a Honda Civic Si with a couple Ford badges and a missing grille was a $45,000 European-spec Capri RS. Perhaps a few attendees, guys walking around just kicking tires, would be fooled, but odds are they probably cash social security checks.
Plus, as I eluded to before, it doesn't surprise me this is the prankster himself, Roger Grenon (I had to Facebook this guy)..not saying anything more...(okay one more thing: notice the "RS" decal...LOL...
