A Turbo LS1 won't touch a F50 on the highway past 150.

With stock gearing and 700+ whp, i think a turbo LS1 would hang or move on one until it's balls run out, or drag steps in. At that point the LS1 will be making enough power to propel way past 150. If anything the ferrari will fare better past 180. Ls1 tech has vids of a twin turbo camaro, boucning on a bike with the needle on his 200mph speedo reading 170 and was still climbing hard.

a lingenfelter covette can is faster than a F-16 at the launch

quarter mile? less than 9 sec

You haven't seen twin turbo Lingenfelter LS1 Vette's then, those will eat the F50 alive and some of those Vette's can go way beyond an F50's top speed.

I know I didn't make it clear in my first post but I'm talking about your typical turbo 500 to 700 whp LS1 not a 1000 whp+ trailer queen.

You don't need 1000WHP to beat an F50, a 650HP TT LS1 Vette is more then enough.
