'check emissions system'
Hey
Absolutely adore my 06' TSX - milano red!
Took her in on June 5th for oil change, emissions & inspection.
Last Fri the 13th [go figure] the 'check emissions system' indicator light comes on. Service was closed so I called Sat morning and was told to just tighten the gas cap and light would be off in 100 - 200 miles. I ALWAYS click my gas cap multiple times to ensure there are no issues.
Needless to say, light is still on and I'm taking her in tomorrow. Has anyone had this issue???
Any suggestions on what it might be?

Yeah, could be many things. The gas cap can go bad, too. Happened on my 04' Tundra work truck. Bought a new one, and the check engine light went away.

I just had the same exact problem on my 06 TSX and it turned out to be the coolant sensor. My advice is to take it to Autozone and get the code read for free, and if it's not something that's easily fixed, take it to the dealer, will most likely be covered under warranty.
