very detailed, you should write for motor trend. Btw, the Cayenne S is only roughly 200 lbs heavier (turbo weighs in at 5100). That's not 'a lot' when we are talking about cars between 4800-5100 lbs. Both are pigs

In fact the SRT-8 isn't much faster then the Cayenne TT. As far as weight, there is about 400 lb different, the Jeep weighing in at 4800, the Cayenne at roughly 5150. Which isn't a lot when we are talking about cars that weight 2 tons plus

Another, the SRT-8 is not faster then the Cayenne, and look at the slalom times in both, etc. See who really is the better performer




that is your reply after someone mentions a cam and tune getting the SS close to the SRT. Do you have any idea what mild cams and tunes are doing to the LS2 motor? Probably not, it's also probably way above your comprehension so we'll leave that out. That said, even then, the SRT isn't much faster then the SS. I've been following real world times for both, both seem to be in mid 13's w/ the SRT getting the nudge and I know it'll be the opposite after the a mild cam and tune




I'll stop there for now as that is just page one and I've already done enough to make you look stupid. And again, I like the SRT, so I'm not knocking it, I haven't said anything negative about it or any of the other SUV's we've talked about. As you mentioned, looks are all opinions, some hate the cayenne, some hate the SRT, some hate the SS. Me personally I love them all. As mentioned we had a deposit on an SRT, decided to go a different route, I almost bought myself an SS, decided on a GTO instead. The Cayenne TT, man I love that car as well. I've driven all 3, the list for me would got CTT, SRT, SS. But again, all 3 are great cars, the SS is the bargain of the deal IMO though, but tha'ts obvious
