Cars and Coffee Charlotte, NC 3/6/10 (56k warning, 171 pictures)
I got on the road at 4:50 this morning to make the meet in Charlotte and it was well worth the drive. This was my first time attending a C&C meet and I was surprised with the amount of cars that attended.
I ended up taking 556 pictures, I got carried away with my recently purchased D60, but I've only posted 171 here. Sorry if that is too much, but I thought these turned out the best. I'm no pro like Rick_TL-S, but I'm still a DSLR noob. Quite a few, as you will see, are underexposed. My apologies.
These are in chronological order by the way. I ended up doing 5 laps of the parking lot, so you may see some of the same cars over and over.
Enjoy

Thank you for sharing. It's another two months before we'll see Cars and Coffee here in Cleveland, so I'm jonesing for a good car show.
Couple of comments....
Holy bumper misalignment Batman!
I LOVE the license plate. I'm shocked it was approved.

Omg I'm moving south. I am definitely jealous.
Your TL looks classy and sporty
But that other white one, with the over-sized wing, black trunk and gold rims looks completely rice. I would be somewhat embarrassed to drive a TL in that company, with a riced version in the same parking lot.

I was surprised at that license plate as well, but I highly doubt anybody working at the DMV knows what that means. NC's DMV's are run by the elderly
Do you guys not have one up there?
It truly was. It was well worth the drive.

Eric's TL is different to say the least, but isn't rice whatsoever. Everything on his car is high quality parts. Instead of keeping it simple, he wanted to stand out, and that's exactly what his car does. Who else on Acurazine would gut the interior, fit an Evo roll cage, and put a FMIC with Comptech SC on their TL? Nobody. And that's the point of his car. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say your opinion is wrong. I just wanted to give you a different POV
I'm considering going to the next month C&C to see what else comes out of the woodwork
Thank you sir!
There were quite a few really creative and funny custom plates. I felt left out. Well then again I was at a meet with Ferraris and Porsches

All About Trance
I went to something similar this morning called Caffeine & Octane, but I didn't take my car since it was dirty. Cars & Coffee's official season doesn't start until March 28th down here. I might go check it out.

I'm sure there are plenty of C&C meets in Florida. I can't imagine how nice the weather is down there right now.
Thank you sir! I was really impressed with the turnout. I want that LP640
Thanks Jon! Good to see you and the little one as always. Your son wants a GTI btw, we had the first car talk
And I'm glad you like the picture! Hopefully I'll get more for you within the next few months
Thank you
Thank you
You are the man at PS. I need to get it
There are seasons for C&C?
How was the turnout at that meet?
I use PB as well. I upload them all in one album. Since you will have multiple pages in the album, go to the bottom and select "view all". Once all of the pictures load, go to the bottom and choose "select all" and then click "generate html codes". On that page use the [IMG] codes. I just copy and paste all of them at once
It was a great turnout! I was really impressed.
Since you are in Charlotte you should try to make it to one sometime this summer.

Translation?
Well make the trip to a C&C meet sometime. They really are worth it.
Now that you mention those, I want them. They are being added to the "to-do list". Dammit. Thanks alot man :tongue
Shit tell me about it. I was the first one there and when I parked, that row of Vipers parked right next to me. I promptly moved my car to the back of the lot

Awesome pics bro! Glad to see the huge turnout. I know with Jan & Feb being colder then average many people were looking forward to that first really warm weekend to bring out their cars... and luckily the weather was perfect for this month's meet. Can't wait until April's!!
You have seasons for C&C?
We have it the first Saturday of every month... all year round. Of course turnout is better when the weather is warmer, but even in Dec and Jan there were a good number of cars.
