The RX-7 is the most "Current" looking so far in this thread IMO. But the belt line is too low by today's standards. The 3000GT doesnt look bad either. The 300zx Tail lights make it look very dated.
I would say Mazda Protege 5 but I don't think thats old enough.

imo, current means cars that still look somewhat modern. i usually associate that with the clarity of the headlights (whether they are frosted or clear like current cars).
4th and 5th gen accords still look current if it is a well taken care of garaged car

W140-generation Mercedes S-Class...don't know how I forgot that it. It's still my favorite Benz and in my Top 5 all-time favorite cars. 
Some find it bland but for me, it's everything I look for in a luxury car; quiet, sophisticated, comfortable, and elegant but understated. If you ask me, it was the last luxury car to come from a world before bling was king. Unlike today's flashy luxury cars, the W140 doesn't scream to the world that you've arrived but it manages to tell everybody you've done so without saying a word.
I first wanted one when I was ten and would still love to have one. And you never know...if things work out, I just might get to.

How about the BMW E39, especially since the F10 looks just like it?
Very good call on the CLK, HBaJ. I still think the coupes look outstanding, even today. A quick headlight upgrade and they look very modern (and by far still the best CLK design to date).

Still to this day...I want one, I've seen one outside of a car show and I can tell you it was years ago, the corner of Highway 41 and Delany Ave in Gurnee IL pulling out of mcdonalds...that's how great these cars look in person.

I think this has the same problem as the e38 7. The picture you posted looks very dated, you need to look into the later refreshed 2000-2003 models with the sport package or the m5 to have one that starts to look modern.

The RX-7 definitely looked ahead of its time but I wouldn't mistake it for a current car.

So true, on the list I contributed I re-looked it over and I'd have to remove the majority of cars on it. IMO the 928 still looks modern and has hardly aged on the exterior.

The only one mentioned here that I would agree with (looking current, despite being 15+ years old) is the 911.....but that's almost a copout as 911s are only mildly updated with each successive generation. Aesthetically speaking, of course.

A lot of great looking cars here that still look good today, but they don't necessarily look "current". The Bugatti Veyron was exactly the sort of thing I was thinking of. Even though I'm not too fond of that design, it definitely still looks current. It seems there are very few contenders in the more affordable price range.
I think some of things that make a car look current are clear headlamp assemblies with HIDs and/or projectors inside, unique taillights (not just a red rectangle), swooping curvelines, lack of side body moldings.
Out of the "affordable" suggestions so far (lets say <$75k MSRP), the one I agree with most is the MK4 Supra.
The 3G Prelude nomination is still cracking me up.

The Veyron itself was only in production for 5 years, & to date, is now technically only 6 years old.
