Which car from your birth year would you pick?

Any make, any model from the year you were born.

1988 -

88 Mustang GT, I have always liked these since my cousin had one, took me for a ride and that's all it took.

Not a tremendously great car, but I always thought gullwings would be cool to have.

I'd have to go with a '78 911 Turbo if it were me.

Of course some of the old Ferraris and Alfas are very cool, but I have a soft spot for a '49 Buick Roadmaster; '49 Merc Lowrider would be cool too, but I'm less of a Ford guy

1984,
I owned a 84' toyota cressida for a while,

but i think i'd probably take an 84' testarossa or my other dream car as a kid, the countach.

Looks like I'm the geezer here-- I'd probably take a 1964 Shelby Cobra 289 over a 1964 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, Aston Martin DB-5 or Ferrari 250 GTO.

+1, even though that's not my birth year. Ferrari 308 GTS is actually what Magnum drove, not the Testarossa, which is what I originally thought.

Oh, gotcha. For a second there I though he'd pick Thomas Magnum over all the cars.

OK OK...you got me. I expected that once you quoted me, but left out me quoting TL CHROMTIDE.

I saw '80's + Ferrari and instantly thought = Magnum P.I. Guess I wasn't up to speed on the running length of that series...

Like saying '77 Trans Am...you know you'd post a pic of the Bandit!

Back to topic...I'd add a Ferrari to my list for '74 hopefuls:

1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GT
