Car door messed up after AAA?
So I'm sure there's gotta have been people that have locked their keys in their car and had to call AAA to open the door for them.
In any case, just ahead of time, I'm not putting any blame or anything on anyone. It's my own fault for locking my keys in the car, and I'm glad that my insurance policy has this kind of service available.
Anyway, as there are a # of ways that the triple A guys/gals are able to get into your car, mine got in today by essentially putting a wedge in between the car frame and top of the door. Then he used a thin metal rod to unlock the doors from the inside.
He said he usually does it this way instead of going through the window in order to avoid causing any sort of damage.
However, it seems as if the wedging of the door has caused my passenger door to now become looser. On the way home on the freeway, I could detect a lot more wind-noise than usual. I thought it was just in my head, but found out my door seal on the passenger side isn't as tight as the driver's side.
Questions:
-Has anyone ever had this happen to them? I'm sure i'll get used to the extra wind noise, but it's still annoying =/.
-Has anyone had this problem and successfully repaired it?
-Thx y'all.

Tim, Red-Cl had a fix for that...
Over time the window frame gets "tweeked" so you have to "re-adjust" it from time to time... The AAA guy just exaggerated the problem. Usually it's the drivers door that has that problem.

RIP Ed...
Trilight had the same issue with his drivers door:

I tied Red-CL's trick and it worked for me... I usually only have to "tweek" the door once or twice a year...
Every time I do it I think of Red-CL..
