Can I get a better deal on an '09 MDX?
My wife and I are looking into getting a base '09 MDX. The dealership whom I've bought 2 cars from already ('05 TSX and my current '08 TL) quoted me $34,500. I want to get as close to $30,000 as possible. How low can they go?

I'm shocked at $34,500 as it is. Considering MSRP is $41,000 and invoice is probably $38,000. Use the $2000 marketing support from Acura, you're still at $36,000
Good luck!

I guess it is a base, so what's MSRP, like $40k? With the bad economy and the fact that it's an SUV, I suppose the price is appropriate.
Edit: Ken beat me to it. $41k. Even a better deal.

Should you take it?!
Thats a hell of a deal. I would try and see if you can get a better one but if they don't budge it's for good reason. Good luck
And when you pick it up come check us out: https://acurazine.com/forums/

No guys, this is for an '09 MDX. So you think 34.5k is a good deal. They had 2 '08s left over that was the base model for $32,849. I'd like them to get as close to $32,000 as possible. When I went in last weekend for my 5k service on my TL, I talked to the sales guy I've dealt w/for the past few years and told him I'd like to be under 35. When I left, he called me about 10 minutes later and said they could do $34,500. I would think they could match the price of an '08. Maybe I'm being greedy. That's why I'm asking you guys.

Anything under $36,000 is a great deal IMO. Make sure they're new and not demos or service loaners.

I'd think for about the same price you could get yourself a tech if you pushed hard enough... I think the dealership can do better...
