I still think the $14K STS-V was a great buy...
just sucks that it was too much power for your experience/maturity level (and I don't mean that as a knock...)
Shoot, I've been doing stupid shit for over 22 years now and STILL have "zomg wtf holy shit someone is looking out for me" moments.

all things considered, the loss of that car must have been hard to swallow.

Really? I saw the dealer listing, too. I just hit 60k miles today. If dealers are selling 2013 models at that price for that mileage, my resale value is going to be terrible... I saw it's the ST2 package, but still.

(Sadly makes eye contact with future Focus RS.)

TL;DR:

Says his buddy in a Silver CTS-V hydroplaned into him, he crashed his STS-V, both cars totaled, lied to insurance & AZ forum, video surfaces of him lining up for a 40 roll, build thread blows up and OP goes MIA, couldn't take out loan from small time dealer, now he can, acquires Focus ST.

This was from page one last week...did you need to bring it back to assert your dick in the measuring contest? I drive a muscle SUV, I win by default

I'm still curious how/why someone with an STS-V and now a Focus ST is posting on a forum where he's not really loved.

Can't believe I missed that drama, sounds like some popcorn was needed.

Brilliant move to post the videos....Never understood the dummies that do that. How old is OP? 19?

Finally read all 18 pages of the other thread. That's rough. All of us have engaged in some sort of "highway debauchery" at one point or another (some more than others ).. but damn. Lol.

So, bigger turbo + FBO + E85 for the FoST then?

Went out for burgers at Five Guys and was coming home in a light dusting of snow. Buddy in the Mazdaspeed3 slipped into the FoST who was then T-boned by a Kia Soul. Just happened to be caught on video; you can tell everyone was friends.
