Good choice, the GS is a great stylish car!

I hope you don't have cigarette burns on the leather interior..

2. 2 cigarette burns on the roof panel - bastard smoker.

I think the GS will destroy an auto CLS on the highway. .. and kansai.. no no burns onf the leather.. thank goodness.

Then nakamichi system is also way better than the stock BOSE on the TYPE S. It comes with 7 speakers including 1 sub.

Im planning to lower it with DAIZEN springs and bushings for now.. sways maybe later on.. then get a staggered 19s setup.

SICKLEX - i thought the bumper to bumper was 80K KM or 4 years? so you think i should be able to replace them?

stock for stock speaking:
1. The bose will blow away the crap stock gs system. ive got the plat. ed. and the stereo is crap. nackamichi is supposed to be better but i heard it once and it only had better midrange.
2. though the gs is fast, i doubt it is much faster when the tls/cls is modded with i/h. High end actually feels better or equal to the GS. the lower end torque is all the real kicker.
3. your modding plans for the gs sound good, but i dont know much about those springs. also, you might want to get 20's if the rims deep dish or the spokes do not reach to edge of rim. on a gs, most 20's look right at home. 18's are just not enough and look funny IMO.
enjoy the car, but be aware this thing eats gas!

they break just like everything else, its a misconception like most people think honda products are bullitproof, like many here found out on the board, transmissions could be a problem, i've seen many lexus engines apart in the last couple of years, but yet no mention ever of that, anyway good luck with it, nice looking car

Bumper to bumper is 4/48k with other things covered longer. But headlights, no can do, it's expired now.

Yeah all cars have problems, but it is obvious, they (Lexus) breaks hella less than any car EVER built . They have won JD power for years now, not only new but the 5 year old cars. AS a matter of fact, older Lexus cars have a much larger gap than other brands behind it.

Dang dude, it's the MAIN selling point for the car, IMO.

Gas consumption is not too bad of an issue.. i dont floor the car everytime.. It only has 10 more litres than the CLS. I still costs me between 40-50$ to fill up the tank from empty, just like my CLS did.

no 20s for me please .. since its a daily driver. 19s will look good enough for me (19x9.5 rear and 19.8.5 front)... 18s does not look soo bad either as long as u get the proper offset. and a GS with the SRT intake and ECU will gain 20WHP.. however i think a stock GS4 can still take a I/H CLS auto on the highway.. Remember the GS4 have E-shift so it can go to redline on every gear.. well except 5th maybe because the limiter will kick in. the auto CLS hits a brick wall on 4th gear (100mph)

Nakamichi is alot better than the BOSE on a CLS..and isnt the nakamichi stock on a GS4? .. GS3 im not sure..
It has way more bass since there is a sub which the CLS lacks.

However i still miss my CLS i wish i coulda kept both.. =( both are great cars for the money..

Nakamichi was optional. Not compatible with navi in 2000. In US B2B warranty is 4/50K in Canada it should be 4/80. Otherwise US warranty is much better.
