Buying a used Valentine 1 Radar Detector- how much should I bid?
Hey, someone local is selling a V1 (retail $400). It’s about 6 months old. No problems with it, he’s selling his car and getting rid of all his mods. What would be a fair offer for the V1?

I’ve sold THREE old ones on EBAY and they all went in the 340-350 range.
I don’t know why they go so high, but they do and I’m not about to complain.
It’s cheaper to FLIP them on EBAY then pay for an upgrade from Valentine One.
Make sure you get the serial number and check its software/hardware version on the V1 website to see what it’s missing.
I for one would never buy a used one without warranty when you can have the latest & greatest for 50-60 bucks more.
