Bought a TL Carfax says Odometer Rollback?

Perhaps. That's sure looks like what happened up UNTIL 2001.

But is it realistic to think this car only 10k - 15k miles put on it in the following 10 years? I don't think so. Looks fishy.

The only other explanation I can think of (besides odometer rollback) is that it sat on the dealership lots or in the repair shop most of those 10 years, lol.

The car did have about 10 owners not including myself. And almost all the owners except what looks to be 3, were dealers or auction houses.

I knew someone who worked at a used car lot and he said some of those cars had been there for years before they either sell them or give up and send it to auction house.

When I saw the mileage being off two times in a row I thought the same thing. The odometer was rolled back.

It happens, happened to me on my 89 Legend, the owner bought it with 77K rolled it back to 44K in 1993, which I found out later when someone I know had a unlimited CarFax. It happens, it's much more difficult to roll back today's electronic odometers than mechanical ones.
