Just for your personal information.

Those plates are from the Hyōgo Prefecture and the city of Kobe.

The only problem, from an authentic point of view, is that the plates are for a Class 400 car, which I believe is a 4000cc displacement car.

Sweet probably the only one in Delaware with a Japanese license. Not as bad as the French license plate I saw on an American van.

And looking at the plate, the prefecture seal was on the top left hole (noting the larger dirt ring around it), so this was on the rear of the car. Fronts are held with 2 screws.

Yes, the 400 series are for 3500cc displacement and up. 300 series is for 2000cc to 3499cc, while a 500 series covers engines above 660cc all the way up to 1999cc. This is why the Japanese motors, when they are a 2.0L for example, are actually 1.997L. For road tax purposes. The title will have the true cc displacement, not a rounded liter figure.

I'm a little sketchy on the 400 plate, but I know the rest because my taxes are due this month. $170 for the Saber, and the Odyssey.
