Bought my first sedan (400hp twins)
For the last year I have been debating on getting a sedan or not. Always had coupes and since I bought the NSX it became more and more unpractical to have 2 two door cars.
Sooo lately have been eyeing a lot of sedans and found one that fit. So I traded in the G today. It wass a sad day, but I think I will survive.
The dealer took delivery yesterday and I snagged it up today.
Bought it with 30 miles on it. This thing is a beast!
2016 Q50 Red Sport 400
400hp - 3.0 liter twin turbo v6 (350lb ft torque)
Color: Iridium Blue (limited) / Graphite Black-Aluminum trim interior

Been seeing quite a few of these on the road, and from a visual standpoint, they look great.
Haven't heard much about performance/reliability from users, so, looking forward to hearing about it as well.
Congrats on the purchase. Great colour.

Yeah, I think you're right.
I'm not in the market for one, so I haven't really done my 'homework' on the differences.
Just appreciate the quality whenever I see one roll by.
@gnuts.....yeah.....leave it to 'Trumperica' to level out the consumer playing field.

Thanks. I haven't fully opened her up yet but I can tell you that 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears put a smile on my face.
Thanks guys. Going from coupes all your life to a sedan for me was building up so much anxiety. Questions like what make should I get? What model? What color? Will I regret this after I buy it? LOL
The Q50 was the only one that felt "right" and had good experiences with my G37 so stuck with Infiniti.
Ya no budge on the sticker. So I worked the other way and negotiated a trade in price for my G I was pleased with.

Congrats. Did you test drive a Dodge Charger beforehand? If not, saturno_v thinks you need your head examined.

what are the transmission options for this? Is it just auto? DCT?

It's cvt?
Didn't think they could handle that kind of power... and what happens when you mash the go-pedal? sincerely curious. I have a feeling Infiniti did right with this car... but again... curious!!

Ok, whew, no cvt. I'm sure it's a sharp shifting auto too. Very awesome.
I also think it's super cool that more manufacturers are dropping in v-shaped DOHC engines. Honda only did it with the NSX and has never done it since.

And I love that torque curve. Completely flat from 1600-5200rpm waiting for Saintor to say NA is better
