I barely have a little over 100 posts, and even I know not to believe a word Water-S says.

in other news, I have an e-lambo, and my girl has an e-porsche.. my parents are thinking of getting that e-bentley, but I told them to stop being so stingy and just get that e-maybach.

Its called under rated numbers. No driveline is that efficient, at least not in a production car.

meh, im sure hes not 100% serious.

He just says he feels more "comfortable" in my car.

Also not sure if i would want a 325 when i know the 328/335 is coming out. Part of me hope hes not serious.

To repizzle my previous comments from last Fall:

WTF is a "Tar Heel?" A Buckeye is some stupid nut, that's not hard to figure out. But a "Tar Heel?"
Now, what Jesal wanted to say:

Or, even one of those hot black current-gen G35 with black-on-black wheels that you can see rock up the North-South Tollway while my Audi is sitting on the shoulder.
Exactly!

Chicago is the wrong place to go all Eurosnob on us. You actually want 300 hp of Nissan VQ goodness. There's no replacement for power displacement!

Anyways, so today i had his car for the day and i hate to say it... but i like my audi better. His run flats are just too loud and gives a harsh ride, more than my 19s! His sport seats are just to narrow for my fat back to mold into. So the fat just folds over to the front of the seat. No comfy at all. I dont recall my 330ci sport seats being that narrow.

Steering feel is MUCH better than my car. But for everyday driving, i enjoy my car more. Im not sure why.

Might not be fair to compare because im modded though... but im glad we switched cars because now i plan to keep my car for awhile.

Nope, been the same for awhile now. Plus we drove a 04 330ci too and those seats were fine.

My Audi-driving buddy [back in my better, U-M days] from Tri-Cities dumped his girlfriend from Bay City who successfully badgered her parents for a Buick Rendezvous.

It's those Michigan chicks, I tell ya.

Jesal...I may have missed this earlier in the thread, but, is your buddy planning on doing any major mods to his new whip?

Instead of a Vibe, at least save face and get a Matrix XRS.

I'll be curious how he likes it. We had a UUC SSK in my dads E30 325is and it was nice, a little notchy but it was to be expected. My brother had the RE SSK in his E36 323is and it was ok, but not that great.

Oh the car has a cool feature....

When on a hill and get off the brakes, it will still keep the brakes engaged so you dont roll backwards. Once you start moving forward it releases.

Very nice touch for us manual owners.

This only works when you have the clutch in and in gear than release the brakes. If you just release the brakes, the car will roll backwards. The brakes holds the car for only a few seconds.

Also i drove the S4 and have to say that i wasnt impressed. It didnt FEEL fast, only time you knew you were flying is when looking at the speedo. Felt really heavy also. Wasnt that much fun to tell you the truth. What was really weird that the steering was very loose compared to my A4. (gav mentioned this also before).

I had more fun driving the 325 than the S4.
A well-built car will never feel fast......fuck, driving around in a Honda Civic at 80-90mph 'feels fast'!!!

But congrats Jesal...whatever you happen to like!!!
