Boardwalk's Hot Summer Nights (56K be wary)
This month was Boardwalk's 3rd Hot Summer Nights show, 1 of Boardwalk's many successful attempts at bringing high quality car shows to the DFW area.
I'll start that I did a little more editing than I originally wanted to on some of these to try & offset the sun, but I think they still turned out fine. It was one of my first attempts shooting at sunset & I love the colors it provides off the cars. I also gave my hand at a few effects to change up the same angles I normally get. They aren't done to the same extent you can do them in PS, though. Still learning the art of photography & editing.
Hi-Res available for those who want it.
Acura NSX.
997 GT2 RS.
Shelby GT350.
One of the show's highlights.
A pair of absolutely mint condition Supras.
One we all recognize. Didn't get a chance to see & meet the owner, though.
The Roadsters are among the rarest built models in the last 20 years & it was awesome to see one in Verde Ithica.
Played with a Tilt Shift effect in this for fun.
Never understood the idea behind this, but cool none the less.
1 of 20 Frozen Black M3s making their way to NA.
Rather unique 944.
2nd NSX.
G. Spyder. The Pearl Orange just looks magnificent at sunset.
1 of 2 R8s in the showroom (& of 4 at the show).
The other R8. Had some ideas for what I wanted to shoot, but the car in black just doesn't allow for it in the showroom.
458.
They've come a long way.
Godzilla!
Lonely Turbo.
Lone DB9.
And to end it on a GT3 RS w/out the side graphics for once.
