bmw z3 m series?
I was at a red light and this z3 convertible with dual exhaust and m logo on rear pulls up. I wasnt about to race, kinda hard to do while talking on the phone
but man was that car fast, apparently he was looking to go..I'm just curious because i've only seen m3 m5 but never in a z3 version is it rare?

There is a car called the M coupe, which is a very small (z3 sized) BMW. The M coupe is REDICIOUSLY fast, however I don't think they made it in convertable form..

There was an M roadster as well, but it was no where as fast as the M coupe which is the one you guys are talking about. The M roadster should be around the same as the TL 6-speed but the M coupe would kill. I think the M roadster was only made for like 2 yr models and yes it was based off the Z3.

I was thinking of the pre 2001 M Roadster which only had 240hp 3.2 Liter I-6. That's the one that the TL should get with!!! 2001 on up they got +75hp to 315 horses. Now those you got to watch out for....

I also think the roadster was slightly slower than the coupe because of added weight for the folding top and I would assume a slightly higher drag co-effecient. The 2001 on up coupe is a monster...
