just flipped it to speed, special on BMW is on. It might be just for the 6 series...

 

Its been on since last Friday. They keep replaying it.

 

1st time ive seen it...

 

Indeed, I have seen it a number of times.
The attention to detail is amazing in that calibur of car, but sometimes I wonder if those kinds of engineers and designers have time to step back and look at the big picture (mabee they would have seen the trunk on the 7 in 02).

One thing I noticed is when they where nit picking at the way the lines of the different peices of the in interior met eachother. It's just one thing that has always bothered me in a number of cars. Though all those cars cost about 1/3 to 1/4 of what the six serries does. It was nice to see exactly what makes that difference though.

 

BMWs are overrated

 

There is at least one other hour long show done on the 6 just like the one on tonight. I saw it a little while ago,...........it focussed on the production process (how they are painted, put together, etc), whereas tonights one focussed on the testing of the car,...pre-production.

In any event, pretty cool stuff.
