besides an Acura what would you Realistically get??

I too think I am done with Acuras for a while...next one will be RWD.
Here's what I am currently looking at:
Corvette Coupe
335i (just like everyone else)
C350 Sport
I don't think I'd go for the A5 given that the performance won't be any better than the CL-S, though it's drop-dead sexy. S5 will probably be out of the price range I'd consider.
A couple of others that I am always keeping an eye out for:
2001-2006 CLK55 (I realized this is two different body styles)
2007 G35, possibly the 2008 but I need to see one in person first

Prolly a Toyota Camry or a Solara
I hate Toyota but my grandma has a Camry and it's very roomy (a person can actually sit behind me!!) and has just enough pickup to pass someone on the highway or road (VTI YO) a very nice banger indeed.

After all the problems my TSX has had, I'm thinking about something new, perhaps in the spring. The new GTI looks like a good package and I still miss my old one.

Burning Brakes
I just bought my Acura, but what I really wanted is an M45 sport.
But I have a toddler, and I am working on baby #2, and wanted easier car seat access, etc. Didn't like the MDX (too minivanny), so ended up in the RDX.

Infiniti most definately. When I get money, BMW or Audi for sure.
My mom drives a Toyota, and we have owned a Toyota since I was born (1987 Toyota Camry, 1993 Camry, 2005 Highlander). Actually the 2004 TSX was my recommendation to my dad before he insisted on an '04 Camry.
Now I have purchased a 2007 GTI. For me there are certain companies I would never purchase from, but it's all about which has the best car at the moment. I can't see myself ever buying another VW product other than the GTI, for example.

a lot of people saying 335's... what are those runnin' for with all the bells and whistle? Aren't they in the mid-high $40k range? I like the design of the car and on paper it's performance looks great... but the price I'm thinking a little bang for you buck with an Infiniti M or G.
on the other hand, I'm really liking buying used cars, cuz you can really get good deals if you do your homework...
I wouldn't mind a Volvo S60-R (used)

Next cars options:
Cadillac CTS-V
Jaguar S-Type R
Lexus ISF
Jeep GC SRT-8
It will be +400hp. 300's nice, but keeps you wanting to mod. I want a mod-free engine and just do my wheels and springs!

Just a couple months ago we decided to get a "not too large" SUV kind of vehicle. My wife and I both really liked the RDX and sat it them a few times and test drove them. But when it came time to buy, we got the V6 RAV4 Limited with leather interior, which is very nicely finished though not as sport looking as the RDX. But for quite a few thousand dollars less and 268 naturally aspirated horsepower, this RAV4 was our choice.
Other than some of the moded little Hachi's (AE86's) or whatever the correct JDM lingo is, most USDM Toyotas were boring except for a couple sporty models like Supras and some MR2's. But the old 2000GT's were pretty cool I think. Since I've owned my '95 Supra Turbo for over 8 years now, it has made a big warm spot in my heart for Toyota.
I caught myself looking twice at the new Camry too. It looks quite a bit more aggressive than the old conservative, boring (but reliable) Camry I'm used to seeing.

I assume we're talking new cars here, and to that I think my answer would probably be nothing.
Next car will most likely be used since there's really nothing within my new-car price range that appeals to me that much, with the possible exception of the S2k.
(335i coupe is nice but too much money and I see lots of chicks driving 'em.)
A low-mile, all original 97-98 Supra TT/6mt would be the hottest way I could think of to spend ~40k. Depreciation is almost a non-factor on one of those on top of it.

I wouldn't mind an IS350, G37, GTO, or Corvette. The Corvette I couldn't have as my only car though, so its not quite as realistic as the other three. I'd REALLY like anything with an AMG badge, but thats not realistic at all.
But this would be the obvious choice

335
G37
CTS (coupe!!??)
08/09 Camaro
Challenger
I am a coupe guy and I love V8's. I would get a GTO but my wife literally hates the car. I don't understand why but she does. We'll see what I actually wind up with.

I like that a lot of people are ripping on the G37's exterior and saying it's ugly, but yet they still put it on their realisitically cars that they would buy list.

+1 for the 335. It's a beautiful machine.
