Yeah, a waste in so many ways. As far as the destruction factor, it started with wrecking boat gas tanks and fuel systems but that wasn't enough.

I think gas that has a less than 10% ethanol can mess up lawn mowers and I've heard boats.

I thought this (ethanol in gas) was going away, guess not?

Ethanol eat away at standard rubber components and to prevent this neoprine has to be used.
