Back from Bodyshop: Residual Chemical Odor
Got my car back from 3-day work at bodyshop.
It was just a fenderbender....so no interior work needed.
Not sure what the odor is really from, paint or glue or whatever
But how come the chemical odor is so strong inside the cabin ?
Dont then tape and cover up the rest of the car and expose only the area they work on ?

My CL smelled like paint inside for like 4 days, but I had the entire car repainted. Keep your windows open when you drive to help air it put. I would spray any freshener or anything, might make it worse. Try some Ozium or something like that.

wipe down the interior as well, there's probably some residual dust.

dust and odor will get traped in wether its completly taped up or not. If possible to garage and leave the windows open over night, and crack them durring the day at work the smell will be gone in no time
