It's through Foremost Insurance Group... I don't know how much it is on R6 (will know tomorrow) but on my SV it was like $1300/year (full coverage).

Doesn't sound too bad. I thought it would be higher since and in addition I was expecting it to be high just because you're under 25. Even so, $1300/yr sounds pretty darn good. But I rates also vary depending on which company you go with.

I wish. I have other priorities right now. Namely paying off a few debts and starting up a business that I've been working on. We'll see after that. But believe me, it's on the top 10 list of things I wanna do. And the wifey is totally cool with me getting one too

quick question, how hard was it for you to get the bike, cause my friend was trying for ages, since november to try to get one somehow didnt work out so now he has a 06 honda CBR 600RR

also my friend was telling me that yamaha was recalling all 06 R6s or something because they werent able to rev to the specified redline or something..

^ it's not a recall but they require you to buy an upgraded ECU to rev it to what they advertised in the beginning. bad move by yami..

but still, R6 is the best in 600cc class

not hard, they had 2 black ones and 1 blue, they sold blue and black. They had this black one sitting for over a week.... I sent my friend to talk to his stepmom and they put the bike on hold for me. I went in the next day, I didn't have to fight for the deal, they just said $9800 OTD which was really good since they are going for $10,500 in SOCAL.

they were buying it back from the buyers that weren't "happy". I don't understand some people, it's not like you need to rev it up to 17.5 on street. I had to sign a paper that said it only rev's it up to 16k and yamaha made a mistake.
