Congrats on the new car! I believe I speak for all of us when when I say - I'm looking forward to seeing what you choose for #41.

I say the over/under on 3 is 1 - who'll take that bet?

Two Korean cars in the stable... both great choices.

You were the reason I went back and looked at the Genny. Once I realized I couldn't realistically don the muscle car thing, I went for a test drive. It was the I've driven in years that wowed me.

Incredible lineup...you basically want a car. And get it and sell it in the time it takes me to dream about ever owning it. Very nice...that genesis should be a lot more money for what you get.

I owe a large part of my decision in part to Kris (fsttyms11).

I drove the Genny before the TL two years ago. The ride was terrible and I bought the TL instead. After reading your thread on the r-spec, i thought about going to look again. I sat in the seat of the 2012 and knew there was an incredible difference. After driving it I made up my mind almost immediately. The dealer had the exact color combo I wanted in stock and was the only one within 100 miles who did.

I went home and used true car and got an incredible price from another dealer, and asked the original dealer to match it. They did and the whole process was done in a couple of hours.

And now #38 has been sold. No more room at the business. It's a sad day, but it had to be done.

RIP Nova

Wait did you post pics of the Genesis? I don't remember ever hearing about that...other than two posts up. Sorry to hear 38 is gone. Refresh my memory- which one was that?

How you liking the genesis? Care to do a quick comparison now that you've driven it for a few months?

So being a member of the Hyundai think tank, I was lucky enough to be selected to go to the NY auto show press days (not open to the public). I got to see the unveil of the new Sante Fe, as well as most of the other manufacturers unveils as well. The new SF is incredible and rivals the interior of the MDX. That said, I spent some time with John Krafcik, the CEO of Hyundai. He's a down to earth car guy, not like your typical CEO. We talked a bit about the Equus, and...

At first glance, I thought it was an Infiniti. (not a good thing, looks like the copied front elements)

Hawwwwt!

More pictures!

I take a walk down a street near my work and somebody just picked up a Black on Black Genesis R Spec Sedan. I took a good look at it and they already clipped somebody on the passenger side of the bumper. Car still has dealer plates.

I did want the SRT-8, but still stuck in the same boat. Need something to take customers out in. This was a viable option. The wife took my 3.8 Genny for a while while her Optima was in for service and didn't want to give it back.

I cant remember if it was you or Leo that said the extra money for the 5.0 isn't worth the 1 second off 0-60
