Before long your car will stay up-to-date with your entire iTunes library. SimpleDevices is working with auto-components company Delphi on an in-vehicle media system that synchs the media from your PC via a wireless link.
According to Telematics Research Group, SimpleDevices didn't give specifics about the product, but it's synching of media such as iTunes will be based on this reference design.
For those who live in high-rises where a direct WiFi connect to the car isn't possible, the system has a removable hard drive that links to the PC via USB, similar to the Sony Xplod mentioned a few weeks ago.
I'm gueesing this killer feature will likely be a standard in luxury cars from the likes of Cadillac, Lexus, and Audi by 2007. If they add a satellite radio receiver to this package being stuck in traffic won't be such a bummer.
