Audio shop broke my wipers...anything I can do?
Last week I tried to turn on my windshield wipers and they didn't work. Checked my fuses and everything, couldn't figure it out. I brought it into my mechanic, we went over it for 20 minutes, still couldn't figure it out. I left it there today, and after dismantling the entire dashboard to check switches and wiper assemblies, they found that the wiper module was disconnected.
Mechanic said the alarm stuff is located right next to that, and it looked like they disconnected the wipers when they installed the alarm.
Is there anything I can do about this? The labor bill is close to $200 for this. Is the audio shop responsible in any way? If I go raise hell can I expect to get anything for it?

The sizzle in the Steak
It's worth a shot, but you are going to have to proove that the audio shop did it.
They will probably deny it.

You have to prove it beyond doubt. Otherwise it is your word against theirs and they will just deny it.
Unless you think it is worth going to small claims court over you may just be screwed if they deny any wrongdoing and have to swallow the bill. Up to you.

they won't do anything, you should have gone to the audio shop to have them fix it.
This is part of the game, unfortunately.
