actually maybe even gotten cheaper, as 50k in 93 is like 70k in today money.

you can get a base s4 for like 55 while fully loaded for close to 65k

I know close to nothing about Audis before 1996 or so.... that generation S4 was available with a 6-speed manual V8 in Europe.

Well, I can't believe how expensive BMW M3's have become. At my local dealer the convertibles are all in the upper $70k range, nearer to $80k. The coupes are between $65k to $68k. Couldn't you get a nicely loaded E46 M3 for anywhere between $53k to $58k new back in the day?

The US Spec e36 M3 started at 34k in the mid 90s. I think the e36 I had in college was 32k loaded. BMWs have gotten really expensive.

E30 M3s were in the high 20's back in the day (1990). Don't know what that has to do with anything, come to think of it.

Supra's actually touched the $50k mark at one point, then Toyota slashed prices down to like $38k for the 97-98 models. An almost unheard of thing to i'll bet. They just weren't selling any at 50 large...

My '97 TL was over $35,000 brand new. Excluding delivery and accessories.

Legends went as high as $44,000

Retardedly expensive. I remember getting onto BMW's website and drooling over E46 M3's back in the day...with no options or destination charge they were $48,xxx as late as 2005

Actually, my '95 Supra TT 6-spd with targa roof and the premium sound was about $54K sticker in 1995. They did slash the prices to $39K for a loaded TT in '97-98. I always felt bad for the buyer that purchased a '96 Supra for 50-some thousand before Toyota decided to chop $15K off the sticker.

Ironically the 97-98's are the most coveted years, because of the updated steering wheel and whatnot.
