Anyone have a 99 Ford F150 or know about them

my buddy got into a fender bender and hit the guys rear bumper. i guess the guy had a dent in the bumper. well i told him to have the guy fax me the estimates, and its almost 900 bucks for a whole new bumper. anyone who has this car or knows about it, can you tell me if these prices are legit? i dont want my buddy getting ripped off.

heres what is listed and the prices:
-rear bumper face bar--------------------------366.63
-Left rear bumper bracket---------------------155.52
-left rear inr bumper mounting arm----------62.95
-left rear otr bumper mounting arm----------11.17
-Right rear upr Bumper pad--------------------28.07
-Left rear upr bumper pad---------------------28.07

totalling------------------------------652.41
Tax 59.36
Labor 119.60

Grand Total--------------------------831.37

For a dealer that sounds about right....but are you sure that he needs all those parts for a "dent"

I would ask for 3 estimates on legit paper that an invoice would be on...like a price quote....

New rear bumper on my wife's old 1990 Integra ran @ $1200.00 including painting! Good thing Allstate paid for it.

i guess the guy said there was a dent and hes pretty much replacing the whole bumper. he doesnt wanna go through insurance, for whatever reason. prob his rate will go up.

well the thing is, i guess this guy works at a BMW dealer and thats where the estimate came from. So no wonder why it seems so high. Without insurance, how else can this be worked out?
