Vanilla Ice color combo, no less. This guy even kept the dealership windshield stock tag! Quite honestly I hope to find a very low mileage older car (not sure what just yet) like this one and buy it.

MSRP 16 years ago $23k... MSRP today $32k.
Pretty much right in line with inflation... maybe a little less. Pretty impressive considering what today's Mustang GT convertible offers compared to the '93 LX 5.0.

Well if the '93 with 1100 miles wasn't new and rare enough for you, here is a '91 SAAC Mark 1 (pre-Cobra Shelby) with 11 original miles.

Ha ha...
But seriously. Now that the shock has worn off, the owner of that 11 mile Mustang is beginning to piss me off. Now I love low-mileage vehicles as much as the next guy but isn't that a bit extreme?
If I had the money, I would buy that Mustang, have it shipped to Oregon and then put 200 miles on it driving it to the coast for the weekend. Cooping up a car like that for going on 20 years is simply criminal. It may be rare, it may be nice, and you may want to keep it perfect but it's a car, not a Picasso. Cars are meant to be driven.
He may say he loves that car and it may be so true but let me say this, my Santa Fe clicked over 120,000 miles today and I probably love my car more than the owner of the Mustang loves his. Why? Because he's never had the chance to properly bond with it by driving it and getting to know her. All he does is stare at it and keep it factory perfect. Sure, I love it when my car is freshly detailed but the one way I can up that feeling is by taking her out for everybody to see. This guy had to invite his friends over to look at this car. No you can't drive it, no you can't go for a ride. And where has it gotten him? Nowhere. There's no comparing my SF with that SAAC Mustang but it's the principle of the thing.
