Any of you out there with 3 childrens seats? (Wanting to keep a sedan)

Found out we have a surprise on the way....gonna kind of screw up my car inventory. Good news is, i can fit all 3 kids in the porsche, just get to leave the wife at home.

But, my '08 7 series is on it's last leg. Need to replace. I've got a few options i'm thinking in my head

- 2013-2015 750 LI (i'm told i can fit 3 across with the right seats)
- 2013-2016 X5 (with 3rd row)
- Jeep Grand Cherokee (told I can fit 3 across with right seats)
- 300C (Told I can fit 3 across with right seats)

Gonna have 6/5/newborn

We have 4 kiddos, ages 2,4,4,6. The 6 yr old and one of the 4yr olds meet the height/weight requirements for those backless boosters, maybe those would help with the decision. For us, we broke down and bought an Odyssey a few years ago, no regrets and way easier getting kids in/out rather than 3 across, esp. with the sliding doors.

Yea, the Mrs. has an MDX, so 3 kid car duty will be done in that most of the time. We both won't go mini van. This one won't be the car the kids are in primarily, but need to be ale to get them in.

Unlikely to fit your wants, but pretty sure there's more than enough room for 3 in my F150.

Congrats Scott!!

Maybe an S6? Looking at our E63... that may work too. Not sure of the budget or needs/wants, but I think several of the AMG/S/M cars would fit your needs

Of course there's always the CTS-V Wagon

Congrats on the ! The 300 and Charger are about the same size. I have a car seat and a booster in my Charger now and my wife can fit in between comfortably so I'd think two boosters on the smaller side and an infant car seat would fit just fine. Of course I'd suggest to check fit before purchasing though.

Yeah, Charger should. That's one of the reasons I bought mine, but have yet to try it. Craving a Hellcat Charger, so the Scat Pack might be going up for sale soon.

Congrats!!
Its going to be a fun but adventurous mad house haha

I have a 4yo & 3yo in a Diono Radian and a 6 month old in a Chicco in our 3rd gen TL. all seats are installed via seatbelt, not latch. 4yo sits behind me, 3 yo in the middle and 6 month old behind passenger seat.
all the vehicles you listed are more spacious then the tl, so you should be good.
Its tight but manageable.

shite, the cts vagon may work too. i haven't tried tho bc once you install the diono seats, the last thing you want to do it move them - heavy suckers.
in the vagon, i have a safety first convertible and just move the chicco seat; 4 yr old sits via seat belt in the middle.

here is a very informative site: 3 Across Car Seat Guide

Raptor is yummy. Would have bought it over the Tundra if the Raptor was better at towing...

Charger is kind of out of the question for me, i can't get over that football field of a dash. I haven't been in the new 300 but I assume it's the same. The CTS-V wagon is big on my radar, but back seat is smaller then other choices.

Grand Cherokee is a good contender, and Sarlacc, i've always loved durangos (the color on my '55 was picked off a durango I passed on a dealer lot in 97).

I hadn't considered an x5 till today really, didn't know they had the 3rd row options before. That would be a plus for me.

But for some reason I keep going back to a 7-series. I've currently got an '08 with 110K+ on it and it needs to go. It's hard to pass up on the value of a CPO'd 7 series right now. Can get a 2013/14 with less then 30K on it for less than $45K. But I'm definitely open to other ideas. M5 came into my head today while looking for CPO'd 7 series. But part of me wonders if I need an AMG/M/SRT with the porsche in the garage (never thought i'd say something like that).

Ironically, the only car i'm really worried about getting 3 kids in is my '55. I don't think i'm going to get that one to work, the rear seat's out of an old bronco.
