Any experience with leather seat warranty repair?

My 2006 TL has some pretty noticeable leather wear on the driver-side bolster. I take exceptionally good care of the leather, but the shoulder strap belt is wearing it down pretty badly. I also have some wear on the headrest and the lower right side of the driver's seat. I took it to an Acura dealer, and they said they would only replace the driver-side bolster, and that the other was "normal" wear.

Sorry I don't have any photos to post yet. But believe me, my car is in pristine shape and I'm just sick that the leather won't hold-up under even the very best care.

Anybody have a similar leather problem? Any luck getting it fixed?

I had the dealer replace the seat back leather under warranty on my CLS, but I had to make them do it. Depends on the dealer. They refused to replace the seat bottom & had to buy that.

It really depends on the dealer and how much they are willing to work with you. I went to 3 different dealers before I found one that would replace the leather in my RSX.

Thanx y'all. I will get some different dealerships to take a look.

I just can't believe how weak the leather is. It makes me feel like a "bad parent," but I've done everything preventative in my power. Oh well.

I've read some other posts about similar leather problems, so maybe it's more common than I think?
