Any autobody guys on here? I need a rough idea for an estimate
My mom needs a new car, so we're looking at mazda6 wagons, and we found one for $5,750 with 85k. The reason the price is so low is because the owner acidentally backed into the rear qp with his trailer.
Here are pics:
Rear quarter panel, passenger side:
Rear passenger door
Any ideas how much it would cost to get that repaired?
Thanks!

One on the right for me
My friend had almost identical damage to his G35 - grand total from a rather expensive body shop was pushing 8k. Probably not a very realistic estimate but out here that is probably a good ballpark

The quarter panel is the most expensive part to fix there. I had a minor accident where an older lady merged in to the passenger side of my old tl. Slight quarter panel damage and some scratches on rear door from far away you couldn't tell the damage but it cost about 2 thousand to fix from an ok priced shop.

Quarter panel, door skin, rocker panel (plastic molded part, probably just replaced) and rear bumper cover-- $2000+ is my best guess.
My TL scraped a concrete light stanchion which resulted in less damage, but similar areas except for the bumper, and insurance was billed @$1700, IIRC.

its going to be a couple thousand easy, and its red, it will be harder to match which will take longer to match.

I had an 04 Mazda6 v6 for 3 years and LOVED it. I regret trading it in for my Acura. I had no problems with it and it's power and handling were superb. Whatever the price, I highly recommend purchasing one, even if it's damaged.. Also, the Bose audio package is AMAZING if you happen to get that too.
