The grills not bad, it's the single tiny round headlights that are horrible.

I believe this vehicle was designed by Chris Bangle... who just left BMW as head designer. I think this car has teak which has to be oiled regularly and the hood is unpainted aluminium.

I never understood why acura calls it a power plenum grille...

I always associated the plenum with the intake manifold...

Doesn't the grille just funnel air to the radiator ?? Where's the power in that ?

I could understand if the power plenum grille funneled air into the intake like an old school hoodscoop, but isn't the air for the intake still coming from the resonator in the front fender ??

Maybe I'm just being stupid, but it just doesn't make sense to me, but the same could be said about how I feel about alot of the things Acura has done lately.

Is the "power plenum" design just marketing hoopla ??

Actually it does. Next time you are near a 4G take a look closer. The new grill design pushes air into the intake system.

really? the straight blocky design looks nothing like bangles other designs that all have odd angles and basically as few straight lines as possible

I've always kinda liked the phantom. It has a presence on the road unlike any other car. I guess it's just the massiveness of it for being a sedan (or coupe/convertible). It's just so ridiculous.

I like the way the Phantom looks...both the sedan and the drop-head.
