so you get that and add the package for 45-50K and ~100K you have a Supercar....and this car STOCK beats the Ferrari 458 Italia in a quarter mile....leave alone the Audi R8/Lexus LFA/....I bet it will take on the Gallardo and maybe the Murciélago as well....

That's easily one of my favorite GT-R videos. Quite simply, the GT-R in stock form is bad @$$ on the cheap (comparatively speaking)....and then clearly taken to ridiculous performance levels by the likes of AMS and Switzer. (The former in particular taking a nuclear missile to a gun fight.)

There is always the ariel atom...You can call them to find out what you need to do in your state to make it street legal. In SC if you install the motor/tranny/ECU by yourself it is considered a kit car and thus you can register it with the SC DMV with no issues. Then you basically have a road legal indy car.
