How does your car feel going 150mph? My 3G TL felt pretty scary +140mph. Haven't gone over +120mph with my MS3 yet.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it Great looking car. Another thing I like about it is that it's a rare occasion to see a Crossfire on the road. How's the interior (leather, etc...) holding up? Any interior shots?

Nice car! Don't see them too often up here.

Does the spoiler raise once you turn the car off? In all the pictures it's in the raised position.

Haha, you caught me! It's not actually my XF, I was just playing. I wondered how long it would be before anyone caught it.

It is a Limited (3.2L NA with the 5A/T) from the Crossfire forum. Mine has a little more than 5K on it.

And the fastest I've ever had mine up to was 140.

The fastest I've had mine up to was 140 and it felt pretty solid. The car itself is extremely rigid, so it doesn't flex much at all.

Crossfires don't have a lot of suspension travel so it does require a pretty smooth road. The only reason I backed off at 140 was because the road irregularities were becoming a little too frequent for me.

In my 2G TL-S once you hit 4th gear it was like you hit a brick wall. In the Crossfire it is more linear past 100. It's certainly not a rocket but it climbs pretty well.

The interior has held up great, but it doesn't really see a lot of abuse either.

The only thing I do not like is the material that covers the side of the transmission tunnel between the seats from the SLK. It is really easy to scratch. The scratches smooth out with some detailer but it is annoying that it always looks beat up. The material is too soft to be there.

My other gripe is the black carpet. It shows anything and everything, but really I made the choice to get a black interior...

Everything else is pretty good, IMO. Everything that looks metal is metal, save for the silver that runs from underneath the center A/C vents and along the top of the console. The metal on the shift knob is extremely soft to the touch. The carpet mats are berber style and look and feel really expensive. The seats are pretty comfortable, IMO. The seats hold you in pretty well, but on long road trips there isn't enough back support as their could've been. The leather feels great and is 10x more durable than what was in my TL. Granted this car has a lot less miles, there are zero creases/cracks in the leather. When you get out of the car there may be a few but by the time you return the blemishes are completely gone. I don't think the leather is as soft as what was in the TL, but I'll take the added durability every time. There is phenumatic assist for the glove box which I had never seen before. It's impossible to let it slam open, it just glides down if you let go of the switch. Everything is put together extremely tight and I have not had one rattle from the interior panels.

The only rattle I have is from the hatch lock mechanism. There is a TSB out for it I just haven't done anything about it. There is evidently some play in something and its like a small clank sound when the car rocks from side to side. I only hear it when going over a railroad track really slow or something like that.

There are a couple of interior color options...

The one I have is called Dark Slate with Medium Slate which is black with gray.

Dark Slate:

Dark Slate with Vanilla:

Dark Slate with Cedar:

I do love that they aren't on every street corner. I know a few people that have them and they love them. The car does get a lot of stares at redlights and things. Almost every time someone approaches me about it they ask who makes it. Surprisingly it gets mistaken for a Porsche frequently. One guy asked me how I liked owning a Bentley. But it does get a lot of unwanted attention too. Every 17-24 year old guy with anything remotely sporty has to fly by. One Camaro driver hung out of his window as he drove by as I waited at a redlight. Stupid shit like that seems to happen a lot.

I see

My 3G TL hit a brick wall in 4th gear too. Didn't like the feeling at all.

There is a switch inside to control the spoiler. If you leave it in auto mode the spoiler will raise at 62mph and lower itself at 38mph (I think thats the correct mph). You can raise the wing with the switch and it will stay up until you push the button to put it back down. You can also raise it to different heights but after 62 it will deploy fully regardless.

Also if one of the rear wheels looses traction and the ESP activates the spoiler will raise.

I usually keep it raised because it's distracting sometimes when your driving. Everytime it goes up/down I can see it in the rearview mirror so I look. I just leave it up so it's not moving up/down constantly then when I park it back in the garage I put it back down.

I didn't really expect it to go as good as it did. Not that it was ripping the speedometer up, but I definitely let off before it did.

There is also a switch under the gas pedal and if you push the gas pedal all the way down it will downshift to a lower gear, but if you push the gas pedal all the way down till you feel the floor then push it harder you can hear it click and the car will immediately downshift the the lowest gear possible. The A/C cuts off too to give the most power.

There isn't a gate for the manumatic function, you just pull the gear shift to the left for - and push it right for +. Once you pull it to the left your in "Autostick" mode and to go back to regular D you just push the shifter to + for 2 seconds. But even if you are in regular D, if you pull the shifter to - for 2 seconds it will downshift to the lowest gear automatically.
