Nice. No shame in a minivan for the family as it does what it's meant for very very well.

The CTR is a super sweet hot hatch (despite some negative media haters) and can't wait to see some pics. Good idea to wait until the hype dies down and the crazy prices drop back to normal levels.

Definitely consider it. I think you're part of the exact demographic that KIA is trying to target with the new Stinger GT....a lot of car for not alot of coin relatively...

Base on what i read, it seems the car you really want do not exist yet. You probably have to prioritize and make the decision accordingly.

- $35k in 2017 is not a lot of $$ like 2006 for a V6 with the type of interior you wanted, epsecially if that $35k is OTD price.
- If you think TLX or GS350 does not have enough rear leg room, then most of the cars in that segment will not fit your needs
- I cant think of a car that is not slow, with rear leg room, with nicer interior than 2017 accord.

Like other side.. maybe Genesis.... Not sure if you can get 1 for $35k tho.
I know RLX did not impress you but i think a 2 year old RLX will be the best car for you.
Try one with the upgraded tires, it might change your perspective. At least that is what i have heard.

Search is over/closing the loop

Well the search is over. Yesterday I put down a deposit on a 2018 Buick TourX. Ordered using employee pricing so none of the horrendous dealer interaction I was having looking at other cars.

Not the sport sedan I wanted but as pointed out the car I really wanted doesn't exist. This gets me more space, doesn't break the bank, and while all wheel drive was not a requirement it won't hurt to have in a Wisconsin winter.

No ETA yet but they estimate 45 - 90 days since they are built in Germany and shipped over. Essence trim level, sport red exterior with black leather interior.

Thanks for all the input! This is a really great community and I will be checking back in from time to time.
