Acura TL A-Spec 6MT vs Volvo S60R 6MT
 

So I'm in Walgreens looking for something to read. I guess Road & Track has a new magazine callled 'Speed', new to me anyway. Fall 2004 Issue Cover says Acura's DVD. Main item on cover is underground RX-8. The article on 5.1 stereo is positive and enlighting.

NEway, starting on page 76 is a full comparison of TL v S60 R. Surprise, they like the TL better even though the S60 is slightly faster.

Does anyone have scans of this article?

s60 is getting a little long in the tooth for me

The S60 cant touch the 3G TL when it comes to styling. Come to think of it, the S60 cant touch the 2G TL in styling.

But the S60 does have some impressive straightline performance with AWD utility. That part I do like.

Unfortunately that Volvo AWD system is notorious for being unreliable and expensive to fix. A shame because they are rather unique cars. Where else can you get an I5 turbo AWD wagon with a manual transmission? I saw a video of an R with an upgraded exhaust and that engine sound was amazing.

I love Volvo wagons and even so I think I'd rather have a TL-S. IMO better looking, more reliable, and just a better all rounder than the R's.
