Motor Trend got a 5.7 with the A Spec. Obviously the suspension bits and sticky tires help get the power down. Now, imagine some engine mods like a SC

uhm .. I thought the Aspec package was just for looks? why is it dropping the 0-60 like half a sec.

I didn't see it as that complimentary? They questioned the cost and commented about the torque steer. Must not have paid them too much.

best time for a stock auto 04 tl is a 14.8.. vinarnolds car with me driving.. they avg 15.1s at about 92 mph

WOW that means my 0-60 must be right there in the mid 5's as well. Didn't realize it was that fast.

Not that 0-60 means anything.

How can the Heaver TL with 270 HP do 0-60 faster then a lighter CL-S with 260 hp?? I think that number doesnt represent real world numbers, ive driven in a few differnt new TLs and non of them seemed very fast, and the feel heavy.

the difference between the weight of the two cars is not that great (both six-speed models that is). therefore, the addition of 10HP as well as greater traction of a-spec TL can yield a faster 0-60 time.

also, it's not really fair to compare 0-60 times that are recorded in different conditions. the humdity and temperature can greatly affect test results.
