Probably a side issue, but I'd check the maintenance costs on a G35... I have an Infiniti QX4 and it costs way too much - $175 for an oil change; $850 for the 30K service!!! I know it's a truck and it's a couple of years old, but seriously! That adds up after a while...

Having drive the G35 a few times (loaners), I have to say it's a fun car. Plenty speedy, but a little harsh on the braking and accelerating compared with the TL. A little "all or nothing" for me.

Damn! $175 for an oil change, they are robbing you blind. I had a Pathfinder (same engine as QX4) and Nissan would only charge $30. I'd take it elsewhere for service.

Umm your dealer screwed you.

$50 for oil change with synthetic here, and $180 k for 15k service, $320 for 30k service.

Please! you cannot deny that the TL takes many styling cues from the 1998 ford mustang. From the front facia to the tails down to the spoke wheels. The TL also resembles an overweight Accord. you talk of the G35 being unfinished, the trunk on the TL is so short that it looks stumpy. You also loose a lot of usable space.

I do think both cars are nice on their own ways...Here's a pic of, what I think is one clean G35...

98 Mustang. Yeah, ok.

I'd rather have a 'stumpy' trunk than the 'backed into an uneven wall, now the trunk slopes at a bad angle' look the G has going.

I'm not even going to do the work for you, but link to the older TL, and tell me how that actually resembles the comments made about the G's rear end. The CL had that sloped look thing going on, but you're just upping your defense by including the TL in that.
