Acura Integra w/a Blown Big Block
I’m sure that many times in life, you have secretly wondered what it would be like to shoehorn a supercharged big block Chevy into an Acura Integra. Luckily for you, we now have the answer in the form of a YouTube video. The word on the street is that this car was built by the owner of Pro Street Unlimited in Manchester NH, though I am still investigating the details.
From what I can see in the video, it appears to be a tubbed, rear wheel drive car with a shaved engine bay and I believe a manual transmission (a.k.a -- huge win). As more details come to me, I will add them, until then, enjoy the video, as it really is quite an impressive accomplishment.
Hard to wrap your head around it, which is why I'm not a fan. Great engine, great car, but they don't belong together.
It feels like the engine just shares the same space as the car, but isn't a part of it.That said, the work put into it is definetely respectable.

:shakehead I didn't watch the video, but hopefully it's just Integra body panels hung onto a RWD chassis. If not, it was an even bigger waste of time and labor to convert an Integra into a RWD V8 vehicle.
First - great job at engineering that and from what I can tell the craftsmanship looks pretty good too.
Now - those two things just don't go together at all. It's just weird. I want to be impressed and like it, but the "why?" just won't go away.
And engine like that would look so much better jutting out of the hood of a 69 Chevelle or mid to late 70's type Camaro.

Props on the workmanship, but I agree with everyone that said that engine doesn't belong in that car. I love the sound of an American V8, but it shouldn't be emanating from a little import...it just doesn't fit.
I respect the work but I'm not a fan.Once an Integra becomes RWD its not an Integra anymore IMO.Plus, from what I remember, I thought there were a few people who already did this like 10 years ago.
Amen is that you
