People on these boards always seem to complain about how horrible the service is at acura dealerships. While sometimes yes it probably is horrible sometimes I feel like yeah maybe not the dealership that is the problem here.

Anyway I know a friend of a family thats looking for a new car and she goes you have an acura right? I said yes and she goes yeah we are looking into one becuase my friend had an MDX and loved the service there so much. She said the friend had to get an Seqouia becuase she had more kids but once there older shes getting another acura but she thought the service was that great.

I told her I completely agreed with that. Im 17 and you would never know it there they really have the nicest people ever there. Everytime I get my car in for service they jump on it and get someone to help me right away. They have no problem doing warranty work what so ever.

So I figured I would make a thread deciated to those dealers that are actually good so I was wondering who else has been to an acura dealer and loved it?

I've been going to Cerritos Acura for 9+ years (Sept 07 will be 10 years). Started going there when I got my '97 GS-R Sedan.

They have the best Acura service as far as I can tell. The Service Advisor recently changed, but i'm getting to know the new guys and so far they are really cool. I know some of the mechanics there now that I've been going there for so long.

Best service and tehy take care of their loyal customers.

In fact, on my last oil change, they cleaned out my Throttle body for free.

It's the 6th acura someone in my family's bought from that dealership. I'm pretty sure I have the only modded TL in the area, so the guys always give me a nice welcome when I show up. But most importantly, the two ladies working behind the service desk, might just be the two hottest women I've ever seen.

i have that 10 yr 150,000mile emissions warranty which i believe is now 14 years. and they've done so much work under warranty that isnt just emissions. ie replacing cv boot, putting on new belts, alot of things. havent given me a hard time about it once.

I'm surprised to see Hall Acura on here...I've had my problems with them and I'm a pretty easy guy to work with. I realize that nobody is going to treat my car the way that I do, but I just want somebody to listen to me and then follow through on my legitimate concerns/issues. My perception of Hall Acura is that their feeling is that a customer is often "somebody who has to be dealt with" and not "somebody that we work to please". I've had much better experience with Hall Nissan right down the road.

Their work leaves much to be desired as I've had damage done to my car during their "service". Two prime examples...

1. Had to have my rear windshield replaced under warranty. There were gouges left all around the body where the windshield sits as literally you could see right where Hall Acura pried the windshield off. My car has been in 2 times since to address the gouges and I'm still not pleased with the work. Hall Acura is currently trying to talk me out of the "major body work" that will be necessary to return the car to it's original condition (what I want and expect). To add injury to insult...the new windshield had/has a 6 inch scratch that is pretty prominent in nature.

2. I had the front A pillar TSB done (even brought in the TSB for them). I still have the rattles, but the service tech butchered the side airbag tag/pin/whatever you want to call it and left it in there...barely hanging in place. Granted Hall Acura replaced it, but what the heck was the service tech thinking in returning the car to me in worse condition than when I dropped it off. I'm currently debating how much those rattles annoy me....

The service manager is a good guy but his follow through is lacking. I've set up specific appointments to address the above mentioned issues and I've pick up the car to find nothing has been done. No phone call to discuss what was done/not done, no note on the paperwork...nothing. I always have to follow through with the SM.

Oh yeah... getting a loaner to use while Hall Acura is addressing their own goofs is not the easiest thing either. They've always come through, but it seems like it is a major PIA to them. This is despite asking for one when making the appointments

I KNOW that I would not be having the same experience with a neighboring Lexus or Infiniti dealership.....


Cliffnotes: Don't blindly expect great service from Hall Acura in Newport News, VA....some have had some good experiences while others not so good.

While I was living in Atlanta, all my work was done at Edvoyle Acura (See serviceman, Alex). Great service and even awesome starbucks coffee with occasional donuts!!!!

Despite what happened here in Charlotte at Hendrick Acura (See my other thread about break-in at their dealer), their service has been great.

The service advisors at Cerritos Acrua are nice but they didn't even want to investigate the source of my suspension squeak once they saw I had a Comptech Swaybar and A-Spec suspension. They just said that it might not have been installed correctly and I should take it back to whoever did it. Nevermind that the squeaking started almost a year after the install. They also gave me a hard time about getting a loaner even though I made a reservation for service and arranged it ahead of time by phone with one of them.

sterling acura's always been polite, helpful, and courteous. whether or not i make an appointment or requested a loaner car beforehand, they've always been willing to accomodate.

I like Marin Acura (no. 11), overall they are a pretty solid dealership. Their service writers do enjoy to bullshit, but I'm happy to have all my warranty work done there.

Less mod friendly then I would expect being owned by Bobby Rahal but still a great dealer. Don't like the sales manager very much but the service is top notch and I even get a new TSX loaner even if im just getting the oil changed

Wow, what a dealership. Ive been goin there for bout 3 years now and their service is amazing. Im a fairly young guy and look even younger, but these guys have always treated me with respect and the utmost professionalism, but at the same time like a car guy. Never give me the run around, dont recommend shit that my car doesnt need, and will perform lil shit at no cost.

Service Dept is very friendly as well. While waiting for my car to get serviced, they never give me any shit while I look at the showroom cars or even "play" with them for more than 30 minutes. Great dealership

Im totally in the same boat im young but my dealership treats me with respect and I also love to go into the showroom and look at all the new cars. Thats absoutely the most fun just sitting in the new cars and just like "man one day im gonna have this beast." Now all I have to do is convice them to let me test drive them.
