The ac problem doesn't really bother me that much. I do most of my own work except recharging ac systems. But i will make sure it does have ice cold ac and little noise from the compressor.

06 would be out of the price range i am trying to stay in.

The 04-05 wheels are definitely nicer than 06+ plus. Don't you remember all the 04/05 vs 06 wheel threads

But I was thinking more along the lines of power passenger seat, AUX input and a few other goodies that were added in 06.

yeah the aux in is nice but you can buy a basic aux in rca box for like $40-$50 now instead of going to an 06+ to get it.

I rest my case. 06+ TSX wheels are quite possibly the ugliest wheels to ever be put on an Acura.

i called these guys and spoke to scott L. I actually sent an email on sunday and they never called back. So i called yesterday and spoke to him. I told him that my offer was 10k with ttl. He tells me that i'm not getting htat car for that price. I said ok, what would the lowest price be?

He said that he'll email me the lowest price.

So this afternoon rolls around and i call and ask wtf. He had no recollection of the conversation, until i brought up the price. He wouldn't let me speak andd kept wanting to transfer me to the internet dept. He is a total douch and wouldn't give me any answers.

I told him that all i want to know is what my out the door price was(i was just fucking with him then)

He comes back and says 12,880 good bye. and the mother fucker hangs up. wait til i get ahold of his gm.....

I'd say stick with the TSX unless you want to deal with out of warranty issues on a benz. $$$

Unless of course you get a CPO, but it'll be more than a used TSX would be, no?

Yeah you could get a 06 TSX for less than any CPO C class for sure.

Yeah, i'm sure it'll be more. It was just an afterthought.

What about 04-06 cr-v's? Any big issues with them?

Dallison, PM LoveMyTLS (Mike). He recently bought an 06 CR-V. He should be able to tell you any issues that he's had with it.

I got the sales manager to get teh price to 10959 after my situation with their salesperson.

We may look at that one. The wife says now on the crv since we already have a 4runner.

I think your wifes point makes sense here on why have two SUVs even if one is a small SUV.

I believe that is a pretty good starting price you got them down to. Hopefully in person you will be able to get them down to around 10500 or even maybe 10250. However for that few miles I have not seen prices any cheaper at all than what you got them down to already. From the pictures though it looks to be in pretty good condition. Plus it is also in the best exterior color CGP which is a plus .

If you don't mind a possible A/C problem, my 04 is now on the dealer's site:

http://www.precisionacura.com/used/A...aa4bfd39d6.htm

Asking price is high, though, IMO. I gave them the complete record of maintenance, so there should be no questions about service history.

Also, they got the car with 2 sets of wheels: one is the stock wheels with snow tires, the other a set of 17 inch RonJon Servos with Bridgestone Pole Position A/S tires. No idea if they would give you both sets, but that's what I gave them.

i've searched w/in 100 miles or so in the general area and like you saw no reputable dealer has one htat cheap. If it has decent tires/brakes and is in great shape we might pull the trigger on it. Not having a timing belt will offset the cost of the premium gas.

2006+ Acura TSX or 2005+ Acura RSX-S.

TSX if you want luxury sport.
RSX-S if you want a small hatch sports car.

The RSX is the best choice here, even as a 5AT the RSX still has a decent pull. Additionally you can get the Hondata reflash which increases mpg and also gives it a slight power increase, although it requires installation of a CAI I believe.

The TSX also has a reflash available as well which also increases fuel economy and performance.

Congratulations, ignore my prior post then.

But, I'd like to reiterate that I think getting the Hondata reflash will be beneficial. Additionally I wanted to ask which transmission offering did you get M/T or A/T?

Congrats!!

Part of me wishes you'd bought mine so I know it would have a good home....I still feel guilty about giving it up. Oh well, congrats and enjoy! The TSX is a fabulous car.

thanks. We had one as a loaner in '04. We enjoyed it then and since the mrs. is going to drive it, she'll really enjoy going to work in this instead of the integra.

We bought the integra so she wouldn't drive her 4runner to work so much. After dealing with it for a couple years, she was ready.

I shouldn't have any problem selling the integra. It's a virgin and has never been modified which is a rarity.

Not sure if you plan to do this yourself or have it installed somewhere. If you are going to have it installed somewhere I am a place to recommend to you if you are not that far from the Camp Hill area.

these are the only shots i got today

The interior is pretty clean. The only issue we have with the car is the drivers' side autoup window.

If i click the auto up it hits the top and retracts a couple inches, so it doesn't close. If i manually put it up it stays put.

I don;t know if it's a window switch or window regualtor.

The brakes are 90%, the tires are 80%, new oil change, air filter and just inspected.

The wheels are in pretty good condition as the curbage was kept to a minumum.

We'll be putting on about 1500 miles next week, so we'll really see how it is. It will get better mileage than my rl @ 19-20 mpg.
