96' Nissan Pathfinder info?
I'm moving at the end of the year, and might be inheriting/buying a 96' nissan pathfinder instead of paying the 1k to ship my car.
I was just curious if there were any known major problems with this car, that i should look out for? It was driven by my aunt and cousin (neither of which I really trust to take really great care of a car hopefully they don't see this)
Also are there any well known forums for this car? I was looking around through google really quickly and didn't find anything good. I know we had a former member that had a pathfinder, but seeing as he stuck around here, (till he got the ban hammer?)
i'm not too optimistic about finding one.

Did you buy it?
That former member was me, and I bought a 1995 pathfinder. My car was the last model year for that design and the 96 is the 1st year of the next generation.
I bought my pathy with 167k and I now have 181k. I have had no problems. Just new tires, timing belt/water pump, and a clutch when I bought it. All wear and tear. The car is bit underpowered but a beast nonetheless. It hauls gears like a champ, and goes anywhere I need it to go offroad. I love this car.
Here is a site that gives any problems that were an issue:

good luck!
