My fathers friend collects all kinds of cars. Not really collect, but keeps them a few months and then sells them - makes money since the cars he gets are not as readily available in the US. He sells the cars to buyers who are willing to pay extra and not wait a long time to be able to own one. I remember he had an 8-series. it didn't look that good but it was still an appealing car. His more recent cars include a ferrari (not at all impressed by its visual beauty) lamborghini(much more attractive in person than the ferrari, and the Carrera GT. I almost vomited sitting in the carrera and being driven in it. Feels like a race car, what a lucky SOB. i don't know how a person is able to sell that car once they experience it.

Man I love that car...

I hope BMW comes out with it again...

With the 645i out I think that will only happen as a BMW "supercar"
Competitors would likely be:

Mercedes SLR McLaren



or Porsche Carrera GT



I think that would be a great next step for BMW...
